On the ground in October

What a month it’s been for Tugo! As well as our huge World 4ork Day launch on 16th October, we seized many exciting opportunities to introduce our wide range of products to new audiences. We also developed a number of brand-new sites that are assured to tantalise the taste-buds of customers everywhere! See below for a few of our main highlights of October.

Showcasing our Products – namely that of dough!

October kicked off with a table-top event that’s great for… well, toppings on tables! Our National Account Manager – Nick Joblin – took to the Food Fair in London, where he showcased our amazing range of flat bread pizza. These pizzas had all delicious toppings covered, from classic pepperoni and chillies to parma ham and figs. They may be flat breads, but they surely aren’t flat on flavours!

Neo Pizza samples at Wigan & Leigh College

Throughout the month, we also visited various sites to offer a “pizza-the-action”, showcasing our fantastic Neo Pizza range. To start, we panned out some delicious sample slices for the students at Wigan & Leigh College and University Centre – Leigh Campus. It’s no wonder so many students couldn’t resist staying on site for a slice of the action!

Pssst… we’ll let you in on a little secret too – our sample pizzas actually sold twice as much as usual on Wigan & Leigh site on that day.

Launching our Neo Pizza Range at Kimbolton School

Our Regional Brand Manager – Annette Hamdan – also showcased our new Neo Pizza Range at Kimbolton School in Cambridgeshire and launched a brand-new Neo Pizza site at the University of Nottingham! This Tugo-tastic site will be selling our delicious 12” pizza and dough balls.

Sweet fillings at Wellington College

Plus, serving up pizza is a piece of cake with Tugo, so why not bring in some sweet treats too? Those with a sweet tooth are satisfied with our 6″ small dough puck demo at Wellington College, with some of our favourite fillings, which included salted caramel & salted popcorn, raspberry & white chocolate, and lemon meringue with dark chocolate. So much variety, but which would you choose?

Catering at Etihad Stadium

We were also delighted to attend the Food Service Options education catering evening held at the Etihad Stadium. With such a wide range, both sweet & savoury, we could have gone on for flours!

New developments – innovation at Tugo

We also welcomed our new London area Regional Manager Muhammad Gulamonabi! This means there’s been lots of site visits and training around London going on. Watch out for an upcoming post on “A day in the life of a Regional Manager”!

If it’s not showcasing our products at a new venue or visiting our existing sites, we are at the Tugo Towers getting creative with new innovative concepts! Annette and our Development Chef, Carl Brook, have been busy with the chefs from Sodexo, experimenting with a fresh dough deli counter offer…

If that’s not enough of a filling for you, be sure to stay up to date with our latest news and updates on Instagram and Twitter, and like us on Facebook!
