2017 is coming to an end, and with it, (we hope) will come the end of all the overdone food trends we truly cannot wait to see the back of…

Charcoal tinged snacks. Everything topped with avocado. Overpriced bowls of poke. These trends can’t just disappear quietly, though. They need to be dethroned by a whole new batch. We have scoured the web for some predictions of our own to see what all the cool kids will be eating in 2018.

Tugo – moving the food pulse into Top Gear! Our amazing team have been busy on the ground in October.

In our latest 'meet the team' blogs, we ask Nick some searching questions about all things Burrito Cantina.

Burrito Cantina - University Challenge!

We challenged students at Huddersfield University to take our Burrito Challenge to win the coveted Tugo University Trophy!

The first ever 'University Challenge' took place last week at Huddersfield University.

Our Burrito Cantina outlet situated in the University's food court serves up the students daily doses of the best burritos money can buy. We thought we would launch our first challenge to the students, and let them take on their fellow students and defeat our 'XX Burrito' in record time!

The fastest time won the trophy, as well as a branded Burrito Cantina water bottle and free Burritos for a week!

Huddersfield Uni are the current holders of the University Trophy and with more Universities set to take part next year in the 2018 Burrito Cantina Challenge - some serious eating will be happening at a campus near you!

Next year, we’ll be taking the competition to Universities across the country.

Stay tuned to find out how you can get involved!

Supporting British Food Fortnight

Tugo Foods is proud to support and celebrate British Food Fortnight.

Tugo is proud to support and celebrate British Food Fortnight.

Where possible, we use British produce to support British farmers and reduce the distance that produce travels.

100% of the flour used in our fresh dough discs and pucks is grown in the UK and comes from the rich fields of the East of England, from Kent in the South to Leicestershire in the North.

All the flour that goes into our Stone bake and Focaccia ranges is grown and milled in the south of England.

The bases are manufactured for us in Berkshire.

In our latest 'meet the team' blogs, we ask Natasha some searching questions about all things NEO.

Freshers Fair at the UCL!

NEO Pizza have been at todays UCL Freshers Fair - here's why...

Our Tugo-tastic NEO pizza sampling team have been giving away #FREE pizza samples at the Food Federation UCL.

We’re thrilled to announce that we raised a whopping £2,328 for charity as part of the Wolf Run challenge that took place earlier this month!

On September the 2nd, the Tugo team bravely completed 30 obstacles in an intense and rather muddy 10k off-road race to raise money for the Banbury Young Homelessness Project, helping them to provide support and services to many homeless people in Banbury and its surrounding areas.

You can learn more about the project here: http://www.byhp.org.uk

Thank you to all of our supporters for helping the Tugo Tigers to the finish line as we smashed our original £1,000 target!

You still have time to sponsor our intrepid team of Tugo Tigers for the #wolfrun which is taking place on September the 2nd.

Help them to roar to victory as they take on an intense 10k off-road obstacle race in an effort to raise £1000 for the #BanburyYoungHomelessnessProject.

You can sponsor them by following the Just Giving link below - all donations welcome.
